Air Canada’s Toronto– Tel Aviv Flights Are Set to Return

Toronto travelers could finally have another nonstop option to Israel again this winter.

Air Canada plans to restart nonstop service between Toronto Pearson and Tel Aviv on January 17, 2027, with flights operating four times a week, according to an announcement from the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported this week by Canadian travel-industry publication PAX.

It’s been a long pause

Air Canada has repeatedly delayed its return to Israel as the security situation changed. Its latest official travel update says flights to and from Tel Aviv remain suspended until mid-January 2027, lining up with the newly reported January 17 restart.

Air Canada is also currently showing Toronto–Tel Aviv fares for January 2027 on its own website, another indication that the route is being prepared for a return.

For Toronto’s Jewish community, the return would mean another nonstop option to Israel after a long stretch of limited choices.
