Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Grossman Honoured at Toronto Gala Celebrating 80th Birthday and 55 Years of Leadership
A special gala celebrating Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Grossman’s 80th birthday and 55 years of devoted leadership took place at Chabad on Bayview, bringing together supporters, alumni, and community members for an inspiring evening.
Prior to the gala, Rabbi Grossman participated in a special Lead, Light and Learn gathering with students from three local schools: Yeshivat Or Chaim, Nefesh Dovid, and Yeshivat Keser Yosef.
One of the evening’s most powerful moments came during a panel discussion featuring three young men, two of whom are graduates of Migdal Ohr’s Zoharim program. They shared deeply personal stories of overcoming difficult childhood circumstances, battling substance abuse, and finding a path toward stability and success.
The evening concluded with an energetic performance by Nissim Black, leaving guests inspired by the impact of Rabbi Grossman’s life’s work.
