Rav Brudny in Toronto

At last night’s Shuvu parlour meeting at the home of Rav Dovid Pam, shlit”a, with the participation of Rav Elya Brudny, shlit”a, Rosh Yeshivas Mir Brooklyn.

The Rosh Yeshiva’s mesiras nefesh to attend in the aftermath of yesterday’s severe storm was truly remarkable.

After his scheduled flight to Toronto was cancelled, Rav Brudny flew instead to Buffalo and was driven from there to Toronto. Following the parlour meeting, at approximately 10:30 p.m., he was driven back to Buffalo to catch a flight home.

But the ordeal wasn’t over. That flight never took off either. Rav Brudny ultimately had to be driven all the way from Buffalo back to New York, arriving in Brooklyn at approximately 9:00 this morning.
